  • Use your customers’ or site visitors’ words, not simply based on your knowledge or keyword research;
  • Try Long Tail Keywords or key phrases rather than generic keywords;
  • Try relevant keywords/ phrases that are less competitive.

Web Design With SEO In Mind

  • Make sure your web design is visually attractive and mobile friendly;
  • Make sure your website’s topics are apparent at first glance;
  • Make sure your URLs are SEO-friendly;
  • Rename your files with relevant keywords or phrases;
  • Try to avoid frames;
  • Include a XML sitemap and a user sitemap;
  • Include a robots.txt file;
  • Check your website’s link structure (internal links, external links/ outbound links, back links)
  • Fix broken links;
  • Test and analyze your site speed at Google PageSpeed Insights.

Links Building Strategies

  • Avoid garbage links, cultivate quality links instead;
  • Open external links/ outbound links in new tab/ new window;
  • Well structured internal links with your own web pages. How? Build your links like wikipedia!;
  • Page/ post sharing in Social Media platforms/ forum/ classified etc.. to generate effective back links;

Quality Content

  • One focus per page, try not to optimize multiple keywords (with low relevancy) on the same page;
  • Understand and use Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) keywords;
